SILENCE IS NO MORE GOLDEN

…. We need to tell BAO our stand about his second term ambition

My brothers, my sisters, my political associates, fellow appointees, let us say the truth as it is. Since the creation of our dear state, every Governor has tried in their own way. But from all we can see today, the government of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) is different and unique

Just two weeks ago, Ekiti people came out in their thousands to show massive support for BAO. It was an unprecedented gathering in the history of our state. That alone tells the story — the people know when a Governor is working for them.

Since BAO assumed office:

Workers enjoy peace of mind — no strike notice, no strike action, because salaries, pensions, and entitlements are paid promptly.

Road projects are ongoing across the state, linking our towns and villages, boosting trade and movement.

Farmers are supported with inputs and incentives to grow food and secure our future.

Education is strengthened — schools are improved, teachers are motivated, and our youths are empowered with skills.

Health care delivery is better, with facilities upgraded and workers encouraged.

Above all, BAO’s leadership is humble, open, and consultative.

This is why Ekiti is peaceful. There is no magic — only good governance, sincerity, and hard work.

Sadly, some people seeking attention are busy writing and circulating unpalatable articles against the government. They spread lies to confuse the people and twist the truth. For long, we may must have ignored them so as not to give them their anticipated attention. But as election time draws near, silence is no longer golden.

From now on, let us speak boldly and confidently. We have the facts, we have the support of the people, and we have the strength to stand firm.

Governor Oyebanji has shown clearly that BAO kii ṣe eni àǹrífín — he is a man of action, a leader with results.
