Residents of Ibadan have been thrown into panic following an explosion that occurred in city this evening.
The explosion caused tension in some parts of the city causing residents to scamper for safety of their lives and properties.
While the cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertain as at the time of filing this report, observation by Roundoffnews.com however indicates that the explosion happened around 7.30pm and the bang was heard across multiple locations in the city.
The explosion has also resorted into immediate blackout in some areas of Ibadan including Oremeji street in Mokola.
Meanwhile, the Police authorities in Ibadan are yet to comment on the incident.
