The Director General, Bureau of Local Content, Olalekan Ijidale who has been unanimously nominated by APC leaders for the House of Assembly seat has appealed to his lovers and followers to suspend all politicking regarding his ambition and divert all energy towards canvassing votes for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
While appreciating the leaders of APC, stakeholders and people of his constituency for the confidence reposed in him, Ijidale affirmed that the main assignment before him is to ensure that Governor Oyebanji secures a landslide victory in the forthcoming election especially in Gbonyin/ Ayekire.
According to Ijidale the ambition of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and that of President Tinubu is paramount in his heart and would not want any distraction for now.
Ijidale added that he is also still functioning as the DG on Local Content and would not need any distraction for both assignments.
He urged the people not to print any poster or share any statement regarding his ambition for now, saying it’s going to be one step after the other.
The DG confirmed that though the governorship election is a walk over, the party is targeting an unprecedented numbers of vote for the Governor so as to prove critics wrong.
