…says utterances problematic to Tinubu’s administration

Former Kaduna Central Senator and President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, CRCN, Shehu Sani, has called for caution over the statement made by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Nyesom Wike moments after his inauguration.
Shehu took to his Official Twitter Account @ShehuSani today to express disapproval and caution over the speech.
ROUNDOFFNEWS recalled that immediately after the inauguration ceremony held in Abuja yesterday, Wike, during a press conference threatened to demolish any house or property found to be distorting the master plan of Abuja.
Wike said, “Those who have taken over the green areas to build, sorry, our parks must come back, the Green Areas must come back. If you hate green, you must hate yourself.
“So, if you know you have anybody involved that has taken over the Green Areas or have taken over the parks to where you now do restaurants, no, we will not accept that. Sorry.
“If your father has done that, sorry. If your mother has done that, sorry. There’s nothing I can do. It will go down. There is refuse everywhere. Those who are paid for refuse collection, what are they doing?”
Following this, Shehu twitted, “The capacity and competence of the new FCT Minister (Nyesom Wike), to deliver is without doubt. The possibility of getting himself and the President into serious political trouble by his utterances or actions is also without doubt. He will have to learn to walk in a minefield or be blown by it.”
