One-time Senate Representative of Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, has blasted the Department of State Service for parading the former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele for gun possession rather than probing his financial dealings.
Sani made this known via his Twitter handle @ShehuSani.
According to him, Nigerians expected an investigation into financial policies orchestrated during former President Mohammadu Buhari’s administration.
In his words, “The expectation of the Nation is that there is a genuine effort to investigate the financial recklessness and plunder of the Central Bank under the Buhari administration, bring the collaborators and beneficiaries to book and recover looted funds where necessary. We are asking for the money; they are showing us the gun.”
