Sebi Foundation Organizes Free Health Mission in Ekiti, Supports Oyebanji’s Reelection Bid

As part of efforts to support the reelection bid of the Ekiti state Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the Sebi Foundation, facilitated by the Senior Special Assistant on Farm Settlement and Agriculture to the Governor, Adewole Temitope, has organised a free health mission for residents of Ekiti community

The outreach, which held recently, provided a wide range of medical and social services to hundreds of community members.

Speaking with Roundoffnews.com on the sidelines of the programme, Adewole Temitope said the initiative was aimed at bringing healthcare closer to the people while reinforcing the governor’s commitment to human capital development.

In his words, “We distributed free medications to help manage various health conditions, ensuring continuity of care. Our foundation also offered eye consultations and provided glasses to those in need, while free dental care was delivered to address oral health concerns and promote overall well-being.”

The SSA further explained that the outreach was not limited to healthcare, as the foundation also offered welfare support. “To support the community’s basic needs, we distributed free food items, ensuring everyone had access to nutritious food. As a gesture of appreciation and care, we provided free Ankara fabrics to elderly community members,” he said.

Residents of the community who benefited from the programme expressed gratitude to the foundation and the state government, describing the intervention as timely given the rising cost of healthcare.
