
The SA, SSA and TA in the Ministry of Agriculture and food security have congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on being named Silverbird Man of the Year.
The Chairman of the group, The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Ekiti Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) Kehinde Ajayi, in a statement released Tuesday March 19, asserted that the award, was a testament of the significant strides Governor Oyebanji has made in less than two years in office
the SSA, expressed gratitude to the organisers for the well – deserved honour, saying Governor Oyebanji’s penchant for delivery of standard projects, is evident across the state.

Kehinde Ajayi noted some of Governor’s strides in Agriculture to include:
*Ekiti special Agro processing Zone which will integrate production, processing and marketing of various agriculture commodities
*Construction of farm settlements dormitories
*Ekiti Tractorization Subsidy
*land clearing across the state to boost food security.
*Inauguration of the Ekiti State Livestock Production Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) project as part of his administration’s commitment to agriculture development, particularly the livestock sector in the state.
These are among of his recent achievements that have contributed to the Award.
