Again, a Nurse, Mrs Theresa Omodara has demonstrated the Florence Nightingale Theory of the profession after she delivered a woman of a baby at Ologoji farm settlement, Ijan Ekiti.
This is coming barely three months after a woman was delivered of baby at roadside.
According to witnesses, the new mother went into labour and was unable to get to nearby clinic.
However, a motorcyclist was said to have rushed to the General Hospital Ijan-Ekiti to inform the health officials of the development.
Nurse Omodara was said to have heeded the call and rushed to the scene where she rendered assistance, which led to the safe delivery of the baby.
The mother and the newborn were thereafter moved to the General Hospital Ijan-Ekiti and are responding to treatment.
Recall that a nurse had three months ago performed a similar safe delivery at Ijesha Isu.
