Residents commend Kajola LCDA Chair Over Renovation of Maternity Centre

Residents of Ibila Quarters Ijesa Isu-Ekiti have commended the gesture of the Acting Chairman of Kajola-Ekiti Local Council Development Area, Hon. Ajayi Ojo Adebayo over the renovation of the maternity in Areta community.

The residents appreciated the council chair for coming to their aid by making the maternity more convenient to patients in the community.

First to speak was a retired Civil Servant and religious leader, Pastor Sola Alonge who calls for more of government presence at both Areta and Temidire in the area with the provision of Borehole to the communities.

Pastor Alonge thanked the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for embarking on people oriented activities that have direct impacts on the lives of people.

He calls for the inclusion of Ijesa Isu -Aisegba road in the year 2024 budget.

According to another resident, Mrs Akinola Adesina, the bad state of the maternity made people to stop using the facility adding that now a lot of people will love coming to the maternity for health services.

In the same vein, a community leader, Ayodele Sunday showered encomium on the council chair for bringing succor to the people of Areta.

“We appreciate our council chairman for doing this for us. It will be on record that this maternity was renovated during his time to alleviate the suffering of residents.”

A youth in the area, Ojo Ayo said the gesture is exemplary and worthy of emulation for other leaders who should always prioritise the need of the masses.
