

The Chairman, Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Femi Ajoloko, has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over the approval of 100% implementation of the Consolidated Health Salary Scale for health workers in local government service.
According to Ajoloko, the development marks a significant milestone in the history of the health sector in Ekiti State, as it brings to an end the age-long disparity in salary structures that had been a source of discontent among health workers in local government employment.
Comrade Ajoloko described the Governor’s decision as a bold step towards promoting fairness, equity and oneness among health workers regardless of their employment status.
The union leader noted that the approval would not only boost the morale of health workers but also enhance their productivity and commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to the people of Ekiti State.

Ajoloko who is also the Chairman of JOHESU and JNC commended Governor Oyebanji for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of health workers, stating that the union would continue to support and collaborate with the government to improve healthcare delivery in the state.
He said:”The approval of the Consolidated Health Salary Scale is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of health workers and the overall healthcare system in Ekiti State.
“I want to thank our Governor for listening to the cry of my people, I recalled that I met with the Governor and discussed this matter with him secretly, I am super excited today that he gave an approval to it, may God continue to bless him.
Ajoloko equally appreciated the wife of the Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, the Deputy, Chief Monisade Afuye, the SSG, Professor Adubiaro, the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Steven Aribasoye, Commissioner for Health, Oyebanji Filani, Head of Service, Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi and every other cabinet members working with the Governor for their supports for the Governor.
