Former Presidential aide and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has criticized the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, over its decision to embark on a two-day warning strike scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
This was disclosed via his official Twitter handle.
In his statement, he questioned the timing of the warning strike corresponding with the day the Presidential Election Petition Court is expected to deliver its verdict.
In his words: “Why go on a two-day warning strike on a day the Presidential Election Petition Court is to deliver its verdict? Why not do it after or before? This is suspicious, especially from an NLC President who openly supported and campaigned for Peter Obi during the election.
“There are 365 days in a year. This timing is just too convenient for comfort. The Wednesday, September 6, 2023, PEPC verdict must not be scuttled, and those who are shouting #AllEyesOnTheJuduciary must allow the judiciary to breathe.”
