The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Intercontinental Mega parish has empowered over 30 women including widows in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
The empowerment programme took place in its premises, off Textile at CKC compound, Ado-Ekiti last weekend, as the women were empowered with N20,000, N50,000, N100,000, and others with N130,000, depending on their business.
In his address, Pastor Nurudeen Owolabi, who is the zonal pastor in charge said the programme started since December 2023, mainly for women, windows and single mothers.
Pastor Nurudeen Owolabi who spoke to newsmen, thanked those that contributed towards the success of the charity programme and encouraged others to emulate them by giving to people, pointing out that this is the Ministry of the General Overseer, Pastor E O. Adeboye.
The guest Minister Mrs Florence Modupe Adelusi in her Ministration charged the women to be focused and make multiple from the charity money giving to them.
Pastor Tunde Adelusi the regional pastor, blessed the beneficiaries, urging them to manage whatever they received and not to use it for food.
