Ramadan: ADENIYI-APASE GIVES OUT FOOD ITEMS TO MUSLIMS ON BEHALF OF EKITI GOVERNOR’S WIFE

In the spirit of Ramadan, wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji on Friday distributed food items worth millions of Naira and cash to some Muslims in all the wards of Ado Ekiti.

The programme tagged BAORESS FOR BAO Ramadan package was sponsored by the Coordinator, Grazing Management Programme, Ekiti State Chief Niyi Apase.

Distributing the food items to the beneficiaries, the sponsor of the programme, Chief Adeniyi Apase said his intention was to show solidarity to the Muslim on behalf of his aunt who is the Governor’s wife as they observe the annual Ramadan fast.

Adeniyi Apase appealed to people of Ekiti State to continue to support the government of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to succeed and continue in government beyond first term due to his positive intention for the State.

He urged them to pray for the government of Oyebanji to witness divine assistance of Allah so as to record unprecedented success.

In his remark, the APC Chairman in Ado Ekiti, Mr. Michael Akinleye commended Apase for the initiative which he said would give the beneficiaries sense of belonging and enhance their support for APC.

Earlier, the representative of the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Toyin Adeboju appreciated the love that has been extended to the government of her husband and congratulated the beneficiaries of the gesture.
