Post Election: Tinubu accepts Certificate of Return, promises to make Nigeria better

Newly elected President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accepted the certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, after been declared winner by the commission at the early ours of today as he promised to make Nigeria a better country.

Tinubu who accepted the letter said that “by taking this certificate I assume the sacred duty as I never ignored. To you the people especial the youths, I will work day and night, I will work to the utmost best of my ability to make Nigeria better”.

According to the president elected, it is a victory for all “As I hold this certificate, this moment is one of the celebration and gladness for us all, the road has been rough yet we worked it, the battle has been hard fought yet we won it”. He stressed.

“It represent that transfer of trust from one person to another. Its symbolizes that each of us had the ability to achieve the impossible, I am not different than any one of you, if I can do this, you can and must do better.” He stated.

Tinubu also said he is a servant for the larger purpose citing that, the certificate confirms the positive action of an election and symbolizes the collective democratic attainment of the country.

“No one is superior or entitled to greater right than any other Nigerian”. He added.
