A renowned broadcaster in Ekiti State, Mr Bayo Famoroti says the appointment of one ‘Bayo Famoroti’ is a case of mistaken identity.
In a statement on Monday in Ado-Ekiti, the broadcaster clarified that the Bayo Famoroti that was mentioned for appointment hails from Ifaki in Isokan LCDA while he hails from Omuooke in Ekiti South East LCDA.
His words: “I wish to use this medium to clear the air on the mistaken identity involving one Bayo Famoroti from Ifaki who was recently given an appointment.
“This clarification is sequel to the fact that people have been calling to congratulate me and my house has become a Mecca of sort.
“I want to state here categorically that I have not been given any appointment as being mistaken by a lot of people and that the Bayo Famoroti mentioned for the appointment is from Ifaki in Isokan LCDA while I hail from Omuooke in Ekiti South East LCDA.
“However, I sincerely appreciate those who have inadvertently been congratulating me and those who have been coming to my house should take note of this mistaken identity.
“I am also using this medium to appreciate former deputy governor, House of Representatives members, Obas, broadcasters, printers and other notable people for their show of love to me.”
