Former Anambra State Governor and politician, Peter Obi has expressed his sadness over the reports of fire incident that occurred at Powerline Market in Abia state.
Obi, made this known via his official Twitter handle on Wednesday.
” I am saddened by the reports of a fire incident at Powerline Market, Aba, Abia State, which destroyed goods worth millions of Naira. Sad occurrences like this become even more painful when you consider the very challenging economic times that the nation is currently passing through.
“I sincerely sympathize with the victims of this unfortunate fire incident and all the traders at that market who have suffered losses. I urge the relevant agencies to carry out a thorough investigation and ascertain the cause of the fire to help prevent future” he said.
