Peace can’t be while Israel occupies Palestine – Sen. Shehu

By Udesinanna Stephen

One time Senate Representative of Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, has revealed that peace can not be sustained while Israel still occupies Palestine.

He said this recently on his X account @ShehuSani while commenting on the Middle East crisis.

According to him, Israel cannot be the occupier and the victim. “You can’t be both the occupier and the victim. Only justice and freedom can guarantee peace for both sides. This is the 21st century.” He noted

“There can never be peace without ending the occupation of the Palestine. The siege and the bombing of 2 million people in Gaza has not and cannot solve the problem.” He said.

ROUNDOFFNEWS recently reported that Hamas, a Palestinian militant group which rules the Gaza Strip recently launched an attack out of Gaza on Israeli forces who were still trying to crush the last groups of militant fighters in several towns of southern Israel. At least 600 people have reportedly been killed in Israel, and more than 300 have been killed in Gaza as Israeli airstrikes pound the territory. In this regard, the Israeli government has declared war on Hamas to launch air attacks on suspected Hamas bases in Gaza.
