The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has commended the judgment of the tribunals on Enugu and Bauchi states governorship State election petitions.
The Party made the commendation in a statement on its X handle @officialPDPNig.
ROUNDOFFNEWS recalls that the tribunal in Bauchi State recently affirmed the emergence of Governor Bala Mohammed of PDP, and struck out the petition filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Sadique Abubakar.
In the same vein, the Court in Enugu State yesterday dismissed the petition filed by Barr Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party (LP), and affirmed Governor Peter Mbah of the PDP as the duly elected governor of the State.
The PDP said, “The judgement of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunals in Bauchi and Enugu States, upholding the victories of our party in both states, is commendable and highly deserving.
“These verdicts reflect the people’s confidence in our great party in Bauchi and Enugu states and indeed the entire country, Nigeria. Congratulations.”
