Party Primaries:Don’t Compromise, Prophet Omitade Warns Delegates

By Roundoffnews

A renowned Prophet in Ekiti State, Prophet James Omitade has called on various delegates of all the political parties in the state to vote aspirants based on merit and not out of inducement and financial gratification.

Omitade who is the founder of Holy Trinity Authority Prophetic Church, Ikere Road, Ado Ekiti said the time has come to reject bad leaders a situation he described as major factor that has inhibited the developmental progress of the country.

He said ” Enough is Enough, we can’t continue like this, this is the time to make a good change and it starts with delegates.

Not everyone can participate in party primaries but we all have a role to play. while I plead with delegates not to vote for aspirants because of their fat pockets, members of the society, families and friends of delegates should also prevail on them to do the right thing.

How long do we want to continue with leaders sharing generating sets, grinding machines, Motorcycles and calling it empowerment when all the necessary facilities such as road, electricity and good security environment that would make the gifts work were not provided.

Today, no one can sleep with two eyes closed because of insecurity and this problem of insecurity is as a result of high rate of unemployment.

There is need to industrialize the state and Nigeria so that youths can get jobs and stay away from vices.

Omitade expressed hope that Nigeria would be great again but every citizen must pay the sacrifice by doing the right things and stop placing immediate gains above the best of all.
