The Campaign Council for Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election has vowed to secure 500,000 votes for the governor in the forthcoming June election.
Senator Cyril Fasuyi, the newly appointed Director General of the campaign team and Ekiti North Senatorial District representative, announced this during an inaugural meeting with newsmen.
Fasuyi said the team’s target is not just about winning, but also mobilizing eligible voters to participate and deliver unprecedented numbers of their votes for Governor Oyebanji.
He explained that while the election is a done deal, the team aims to make history by making Oyebanji the first governor to win back-to-back elections in Ekiti State and secure the highest number of votes ever.

Fasuyi, who served as DG during Oyebanji’s 2022 election campaign, appealed to Ekiti residents to reciprocate Oyebanji’s good governance by voting massively, silencing critics.
He thanked the Campaign Council for reappointing him as DG, promising to excel.
