Oyebanji Urges Corps Members to Lead Change

Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Governor of Ekiti State has encouraged corps members to embrace their roles in national development and unity.

He made this known during the Swearing-In ceremony of 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corp members on Tuesday, at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ise-Orun/Emure-Ekiti.

He emphasized the need for diligence and perseverance in addressing Nigeria’s challenges, including unemployment and corruption.

Highlighting the importance of the NYSC SAED program, Governor Oyebanji urged corps members to seize the opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Expressing the State’s support, Governor Oyebanji pledged to address infrastructural deficits to ensure smooth NYSC operations.

Earlier, Alhaji Riko Shuaibu, State Coordinator, NYSC Ekiti in his welcome address, stressed the significance of the orientation course in preparing corps members for their journey ahead.

He emphasized diligence and discipline, promising to reward exemplary behavior while addressing misconduct.

He appreciated the State Government and collaborating agencies for their support and called for continued partnership to foster development.

The orientation course, hosting corps members from across the nation, commenced peacefully, marking the beginning of a year dedicated to service, learning, and contribution to Ekiti State and Nigeria.
