Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has disengaged all Technical Advisers (TAs) and Directors-General (DGs) of government agencies with immediate effect.
In a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Yinka Oyebode, said the affected officials are to submit their handover notes to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
The disengagement, which came barely 24 hours after the dissolution of the State Executive Council, marks the completion of the disengagement process for political appointees serving in the administration, except for a few whose appointments have been retained in view of the nature of their assignments.
Governor Oyebanji expressed appreciation to the affected Technical Advisers and Directors-General for their support, commitment and contributions to his administration and the development of Ekiti State.
He wished them success in their future endeavours and acknowledged their roles in advancing the administration’s policies and programmes during their period of service.
