With the aim of ensuring that medical facilities in Ekiti state are in good shape, Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanj, has directed that the ongoing hospital project in Emure-Ekiti be completed within the next two weeks.
This was revealed today by the Ekiti State Commissioner of Health, Dr Banji Filani on his inspection visit to the ongoing hospital project in Emure-Ekiti.
According to the commissioner, the administration of the Governor is dedicated towards the improvement of health facilities that would stimulate positive impacts.
He said, “With a focus on ensuring that medical facilities in the state are in good shape, Governor Oyebanji is dedicated to improving healthcare services that will positively impact on the lives of many.”
He further revealed that the governor has worked on 12 hospitals including; State Specialist Hospitals at Ikere, Ijero and Ikole-Ekiti; and 9 General Hospitals at Emure, Aramoko, Ise, Oye, Omuo, Ode, Otun, Iyin and Oba Adejugbe General Hospital, Ado-Ekiti.
Speaking on the electric pole damaged by the recent rainstorm at the State Specialist Hospital, Ikere, Dr Banji validated the governor’s readiness to fix the pole.
