…announces date of Flag off
The campaign committee for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a second term in office says the governor deserves another term due to his outstanding performances in the areas of health, workers’ welfare, road construction, agriculture, empowerment, economic development, youth and women development, among others.
The Chairman of the campaign committee, Senator Cyril Fasuyi, stated this during a press conference held in Ado Ekiti to commence the 2026 APC Governorship Election Campaign.
Senator Fasuyi explained that the formal flag-off of the campaign would take place on the 27th of this month at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, where members and people across the sixteen local governments as well as leaders of the party would be in attendance.
The Chairman, APC Governorship Campaign Committee, said the campaign would be issue-based, without rancour, intimidation, or harassment, but based on the reasons why Governor Biodun Oyebanji should be re-elected as Governor of Ekiti for another term in office.
The APC Campaign Committee Chairman said the target of the party was to make history by winning in all the 177 wards, 2,445 polling units, as well as targeting five hundred thousand votes for the Governor.
At the programme members of the party celebrated victory recrded over the case instituted against candidature of Governor Oyebanji at the Court where the case was struck out.
If Governor Biodun Oyebanji wins the governorship election coming up on the 20th of June, he will be the first governor to govern Ekiti State for eight consecutive years back to back.
