Oyebanji Appointment:Group makes case for Barrister Abraham Olugbenga Ojo

The leadership of Ekiti Likeminds Group, has urged Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to evaluate the capacity of individuals before making cabinets appointments.

Likeminds Group, which said competency and quality leadership must be the yardstick, noted that Barrister Gbenga Ojo, a Chieftain of party from Ido/Osi Local Government Area, fits the profile for Disapora Aide appointments into the the State administration of Governor Oyebanji’s led administration.

Disclosing this in Ado-Ekiti, leaders of the group which include Damilola Oni said Barrister, Ojo is capable of transforming visions to reality, obstacles into innovations and separateness into solidarity.

Oni said: ” Barrister Ojo’s track record shows that he is abreast with the assignment ahead and he has a very good knowledge of the constitution in relation to how democratic leadership works in Disapora relations, having obtained masters in international law and international relations and democratic politics, hence he was tagged an Illustrious son of Ilogbo-Ekiti who contributed greatly to Governor Oyebanji’s emergence as Governor. He is a party faithful and loyalist to the core principles and ideology of progressive democracy.

Expressing optimism that Governor Oyebanji will grant their request, the group said Barrister Ojo has changed the lives of many in Ekiti State, mostly in Ido/Osi local government, emphasising that if the Governor carried out a survey on their claims, he would see that all they have said was true.

Oni said: “Mr Governor sir, with due respect, we quote you in your democracy day speech when you said ‘we shall be faithful to truth, faithful to equity and faithful to justice.’ A Special Assistant/Adviser to Barrister Ojo will serve as faithfulness to truth, faithfulness to equity, justice and fairness, because Barrister Gbenga Ojo was fully committed to your course and aspiration for Governor even when the coast is not clear with truth.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Secretary Tunji Olubunmi added that Ojo is a leader of high Repute , saying he is a nationalist, pragmatic leader who can promote and project the positive values of the State.

Tunji also said Ojo has empowered youths through capacity building programmes which has yielded positive results for government and indigenes of Ekiti State. He’s a visionary, courageous, loyal, dedicated, passionate, conscientious, compassionate, dutiful and patriotic to Ekiti and National prosperity at large. Without a shadow of doubt, Barrister Ojo appointment will elevate the constituency’s reputation as he will strive to bring the prosperity to all in Ekiti State.
