Osinbajo Tasks Incoming Government on Power Sustainance

Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has tasked the incoming administration on the need to sustain power through increased investments and improvements in value chain in the State.

He made this move today via his Official Twitter Account @ProfOsinbajo where he stated that Nigeria could become one of the best power markets in the world.

He said, “By sustaining the significant strides made by the Buhari administration in the electricity sector with increased investments and improvements in the value chain, Nigeria could become one of the best power markets in the world.

Also, revealing efforts the present administration has put in place to sustain power supply in the country, Osinbajo said that, the administration is on the mission to electrify Nigeria.

He revealed, “The administration has also completed and commissioned the Zungeru Hydroelectric Power Plant that will add 700MW of renewable energy to our energy mix. We believe we are on track to electrify all Nigerians and we look forward to the next administration scaling up existing progs.”
