Nigerian professional footballer and striker, Victor Osimhen has dedicated victory of the Scudetto victory which earned him the first Serie A title to Mr George Weah.
The striker took to his Official Twitter Account @victorosimhen9 recently to make this comment while relaying his appreciation message.
He said, “It Was great honour breaking his record as the top scoring African Player In Serie A History, an achievement I will forever cherish, Mr George Weah has set a foundation of excellence for individuals like me to emulate and his legacy will forever be remembered.”
Moreso, emerging as the second Nigerian to win the Scudetto on Thursday Night, Osimhen revealed that he has always admired the achievements of so many African Legends while growing up, which has instilled in him the passion to win.
