The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has reportedly passed on after a prolong illness that has kept him out of office for a while.
Akeredolu reportedly died in Lagos on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
He was 67 years old.
Though, no official statement had been issued by Government, sources confirmed that Akeredolu was being managed by State House doctors up to his death as they could not fly him abroad due to his condition.
“Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos,” the source said.
