The families of the late business mogul, Dr. Lawrence Omolayo has promised to attend to the abandoned hostel which had gone viral on the social media.

It reads “To our dear friends, well-wishers, and the good people of Ekiti State, I stand before you today as the head of the Omolayo family to address a matter that has brought us both joy and pain. The viral video showcasing the properties left untouched in the bush after the demise of our beloved patriarch, Dr. Lawrence Omolayo, has sparked widespread conversation.
“We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has reached out, offering condolences and support during this challenging time. Dr. Omolayo’s legacy as a philanthropist is well-known, and his contributions to Ekiti State, particularly the Administrative building he built for Ekiti State University without any conditions, will forever be remembered.
“Regarding the properties in question, we understand the concerns and speculations. We assure the public that the Omolayo family will soon take decisive action. Talks are already underway with various business partners to take over these properties for proper usage, ensuring they serve the purpose Dr. Omolayo envisioned.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this transition. Rest assured, we will honor Dr. Omolayo’s legacy and continue his philanthropic spirit.
