Old Students of Orija High School Emure Millennium Set Empowers Alma Mater

It was an exciting moment in Emure – Ekiti, Emure Local Government of Ekiti State as the Millennium Set of Orija High School (OHS) made a significant gesture of goodwill towards their alma mater through the donation of sewing machines to the school’s Skill Acquisition Centre

Presenting the items, Coordinator of the year 2000 set; Mr. Taiwo Popoola said the decision was a resolution of the old students to give back to their Alma Mater and provide opportunities for coming generations to get equipped with skills that could make them self reliant.

According to him, the thoughtful act aims to empower current students with practical skills that can enhance their future prospects.

He called for proper maintenance of the facilities with a promise that the old students would continue to do everything possible to strengthen the capacity of the school and make it better.

“We will continue to remember our roots as we move forward in life,” he said, highlighting the set’s commitment to staying connected to their origins.

Kolade Ebenezer ,Ọlatunji Ayodele , Kayode Abegunde, Toyin Jayeiola, Seun Abileko, Bukola Adegoke, Adebayo Bukola , Fadero Victor, Olotu Kayode, Abegunde Taiwo, Pastor Jiboye Bola and Dr. Tunji Olaoye.

The alumni had earlier paid a heartwarming visit to the palace of the Elemure of Emure Kingdom, Oba Babatunde Ajiboye, where they officially notified the Kabiyesi of their donation of sewing machines to the school’s Skill Acquisition Centre.

Represented by High Chief Anjorin Gbadamosi, the Elemo Idamudu, High Chief Toyin Ojo, the Olisa of Emure and Protocols Officer to Kabiyesi Hon Clement Falaju, the Kabiyesi extended his blessings and prayers for the year 2000 set continued success and growth.
