ODF Foundation Again Gives Financial Support To Wife of Slain School Bus Driver in Emure

A leading charity foundation, the Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation (ODF), has supported the family of the late school driver that was kidnapped and killed in emure Ekiti by kidnappers, late Mr. Olugbaye with another M100,000 cash.

The founder of the foundation Hon.Opeyemi David Falegan was represented by the executive members and leaders of the foundation.

The widow of the berated driver, Mrs Ayobayomi Olugbaye received cash to alleviate the current economic challenges.

The widow had earlier received cash gift by the foundation, according to the founder this is to help them cope with current economic challenges

Falegan said the initiative was inspired by the plight of widows battling hardship.

He stated that the foundation plans regular charity work targeting not just widows but also orphans, the sick and less privileged.

“God opened my eyes to see the suffering of the widows especially in a hash economy, couples living together are finding it difficult to feed their homes talk less of the widows.

The beneficiary Mrs Abayomi Olugbaye thanked the foundation profusely for the timely relief.

“In this difficult time, someone remembered us,” she noted.

Falegan added, “We have plans that this kind of gesture will be a continuous thing, it will be happening from time to time and not only for the widows alone.

“This foundation has plans for the orphans, the less privileged, the sick and the helpless ones in our society, as time goes on, we shall be announcing each event as it comes.”

Among the team that went to present the cash gift were; Rev. Dr Omolsyo Ade Akinjide, Mr Ayodeji Gabson Adewumi, Mr. AdejugbsBanji,Mr. Samuel Ajibola, the Director General of the foundation and Mr. Temmy Awe, the Senior Special Adviser to the Founder.
