Ekiti State National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, has welcomed Vice President kashim Shetima to the state for the commissioning of a newly completed overhead bridge by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
In a statement Ado Ekiti , Ekiti State NURTW Chairman, Ambassador Joseph Falope noted that the overhead bridge that would be commissioned by the Vice President tomorrow would decongest key intersections in Ado-Ekiti and reduce accidents involving vehicles
Ambassador Falope known as Oloforo said the union’s members would turn out in large numbers to receive the Vice President on arrival in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.
The NURTW said the over head bridge would cut travel time for commercial drivers and improve vehicular movement in the state capital
Ambassador Falope commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for prioritizing road infrastructure under his administration, saying the bridge project reflects the Governor’s commitment to addressing challenges faced by transport workers and commuters.
He said Ekiti NURTW remains committed to partnering with the Oyebanji administration to improve road safety and enhance the transport sector in Ekiti State.
