NURTW LAUDS GOVERNOR OYEBANJI’S EFFORTS ON COMMENCEMENT OF FLIGHT OPERATIONS IN EKITI INTERNATIONAL CARGO AIRPORT

...as Chairman, Ambassador Falope seeks more support for Oyebanji’s second term ambition

The National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ekiti State Chapter, has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s efforts towards ensuring that the Ekiti State International Cargo Airport begin full operations for both unscheduled and commercial flights.

Addressing newsmen at the Union’s office in Ado Ekiti, the NURTW, Chairman in Ekiti State, Ambassador Joseph Falope known as Oloforo explained that the achievement shows that Governor Oyebanji is interested in development of Ekiti State in terms of infrastructure and human capital development.

The NURTW Chairman noted that the commitment of the governor towards the International Cargo Airport was the major reason the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, SAN, described it as world-class standard, saying its runway was perfectly constructed.

Ambassador Falope also appreciated the efforts of the Governor to ensure construction of rural roads through RAAMP to give room for free flow of vehicles and allow farmers to transport their farm produce to the urban areas.

The Ekiti NURTW Chairman reiterated the unalloyed support of his members for the future ambition of Governor Oyebanji due to his outstanding performances, urging residents of the State to continue saying good about the present administration.
