…as State Chairman, Com. Babatuyi charges them on robust representation
The new executive members that will pilot the affairs of the Nigeria Television Authority NTA, NUJ chapel for the next three years have been sworn-in.
The new executives are Mrs Tayo Oso, Chairman ,Mr Kola Adebobuyi, secretary, Treasurer, Ayodeji Adejumobi, Adogbeji Odjegba Financial Secretary and Mr kehinde Durodola, Ex-Officio.
Performing the inauguration at the news room of NTA, Ado Ekiti, the Chairman of NUJ in Ekiti State, Mr Kayode Babatuyi charged the new executive members to build on the achievement of the former excos and give priority to welfare of their members.
Mr Babatuyi also charged them to support the state executives in their efforts to move NUJ forward.
In her acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Chairman of NTA, Ado Ekiti, Mrs Tayo Oso commended the effort of the past executives and promised to do everything possible to give the union facelift.
Mrs Oso therefore solicited support of members to achieve her vision for the NTA chapel of NUJ.
In his speech, General Manager, NTA Ado Ekiti, Alhaji Ishaq Ayo Akande told the new executive to see their position as call to serve , urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by giving preference to the needs of membrs.
