Two officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corpse, NSCDC, narrowly escaped death on Monday after involving in a road crash along Ado-Iworoko road.
The officers who were in uniform were driving in a patrol vehicle of the corps from the Iworoko axis when a vehicle coming from Ado Ekiti rammed into them.
Though both vehicles got damaged, the officers came out unhurt except for the occupants of the Toyota Corolla who sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
Witnesses at the scene blamed the driver of the Toyota Corolla for reckless driving.
The witnesses appealed to motorists to drive carefully during this period.
