NOA DG VISITS EKITI, RESTATES COMMITMENT TO PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT

The Director General, National Orientation Agency NOA, Malllam Lanre Yisa-Onilu has urged Nigerians to work towards redefining the country for better recognition and key into the Reknewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

The DG who stated this in Ado Ekiti while addresing staff of the Agency and mebers of the Ewi in council in a separate meetings noted that there is need for every Nigerian to think big and come up with new ideas that would showcase their integrity and honesty.

Mallam Yisa-Onilu noted that the decadence in the country was as result of not given traditional rulers their due recognition with a promise that confrerence of monarch would be organized to discuss way out.

He promised the readiness of the agency to continue to educate the public on the need to uphold integrity, morals and patriotism.

Thr DG urged members of staff to up their games and show better dedication to the service of educating the public on government policies and programmes.

Responding at the palce of Ewi of Ado Ekiti, representative of the Chiefs commended the plan of the National Orientation Agency to carry traditional rulers along in decision making, adding that monrchs should be consulted while given appointments to people.

The Director, National Otientation Agency, Ekiti State, Mr Adeyemi Akinola Who commended the efforts of the DG appealed to him to help in the completion of the ongoing renovation work in the Ekiti NOA office, Ado Ekiti.

He also urged him to help in the payment of outstanding promotion arrears of staff and employ casual workers in the establishment.
