No over voting in Ekiti, INEC Confirms

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has confirmed that their was no over voting in Ekiti as speculated.

INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu stated this while reacting to allegations of over voting and bypass of BVAS by some party agents at the collation centre.

PDP party agent, Senator Dino Melaye and others had complained over the inability of INEC to transmit result through the BIVAS saying such development had reulted in discripances in figures with particular reference to Ekiti.

Reacting, the INEC chairman said some of the figures on social media did not emanate from the commission, saying from the result received by the commission there was no over voting.

He urged then not to fall for fake news and allow the process to continue.
