…says the result of APC primary will shock the world
A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Bimbo Daramola, has strongly condemned the recent coordinated blackmail and misinformation campaigns by some politicians aimed at discrediting Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration.
Daramola, who represented Oye/Ikole at the National Assembly, affirmed that despite the efforts of these politicians, Governor Oyebanji’s positive impact and unprecedented achievements in office would guarantee his victory.
He noted that Oyebanji has demonstrated rare commitment to the APC and Ekiti, showcasing competence, capacity, and attitude that has won the hearts of many.

According to him, Oyebanji also built a strong bond and cordial relationship with every party member and made meaningful impact in supporting them collectively and individually.
He said:”Oyebanji has not only been in the faces of the members of the APC and by extension the Ekiti people but Oyebanji has been in their lives. It’s like the case of a mother who has been present or like a father who has been in the lives of their children, they cannot abandon such parents in the Times of need.
“Oyebanji has been in the lives of APC members, touching them in many ways, he has also been a compassionate leader who has ministered to them in their various areas of need both personally and privately and so facing a primary that will be determined by the people and the leaders of the party, and by extension the party executives and structure who have by every day seen Oyebanji statement in their lives would not be a problem.
“He has evidently discharged the burden that is necessary for him to scale through the primary without any fear.
Daramola expressed confidence that Oyebanji would receive massive support from APC members during the forthcoming primaries, yielding results that would shock those who have been misled. He highlighted some of the governor’s achievements, including:
- Regular salary payments
- Defrayment of outstanding worker benefits
- Reduction of outstanding gratuity from N48 billion to N25 billion
- Connection of state institutions to Independent Power Plants for enhanced productivity
- Employment of doctors, nurses, teachers, and health workers
- Completion of the airport
- Ongoing infrastructure development
The former lawmaker praised Oyebanji’s efforts in reconciling party leaders and ensuring sustainable economic growth, noting that Ekiti has never prospered like this before. He urged APC members to remain resolute in their support for the governor to ensure continuity of his good work, which has put Ekiti on the global map.
