The Ekiti State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), has felicitated with and congratulated the Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his latest victory at the Supreme Court.
In a press release signed by the chapter chairman, Ògbóè Adesua Anthony Omololu and Secretary, Kayode Adebusuyi, the NIPR ascribed the victory at the apex court as an act of God and urged the governor to see it as a win-win development for all, in the service of Ekiti people.
The Institute also salutes the path of peaceful legal course of redress taken by Chief Segun Oni and his party, the Social Democratic Party, SDP, noting this has deepened the Nigerian democratic process most especially electoral dispute resolution.
While pledging its continued partnership with the government of Ekiti to move the State forward in government policy marketing and relationship management, the NIPR chapter also implored all Ekiti sons and daughters to join hands with the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji with a view to moving the state to greater heights for the benefit of all concerned.
Meanwhile, the Ekiti NIPR has admonished residents of the State to celebrate this year’s Easter modestly, in view of the state of the economy and the challenging time, which vast majority of Nigerians are going through.
