…congratulates Governor Oyebanji, Ahun residents for witnessing 2025
The Alahun of Ahun Ekiti in Efon Local Government, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jacob Adelowo Omole II has again put smiles on the faces of 80 widows in Ahun Ekiti Community by donating cash gifts to celebrate the New Year.
Recall that the monarch had last week empowered 40 Ahun women with fifty thousand naira each to boost their businesses.
Speaking during the programme in Ahun Ekiti, Oba Jacob Omole explained that the gesture was to ensure that the beneficiaries were able to feed their families and be self-dependent.
Oba Omole promised that such support would be a continuous exercise to ameliorate the sufferings 2of the people during the economic challenges facing the nation, while urging them to judiciously make use of the opportunity.
According to him, “givers hands are always at the top, hence the need for giving to the people. As your monarch, I will continue doing what will make you happy and always see to your needs.
“I need your support and cooperation to move this our community forward despite the present challenges but with God’s grace, we shall over come it.”
He called on Ahun sons and daughters to continue in complementing his efforts to develop the town and extend the hands of fellowship to the less privileged in the community.
The Alahun of Ahun Ekiti used the opportunity to pray for the State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, sons and daughters of Ahun Ekiti to be successful in year 2025.
He therefore appealed to the Governor to increase his monthly allocation from Efon Local Government, saying what was given to him was nothing to write home about.
