NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY HEALTH PRACTITIONERS REJOICE OVER APPROVAL OF CONHESS, HAZARD ALLOWANCE FOR MEMBERS IN EKITI

…appreciates Governor Oyebanji, promises improved service delivery

The National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, NACHPN, Ekiti State Chapter says its members are  excited and overwhelmed by the
approval of 90% Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS and 100% Hazard Allowance for them by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

This is contained in a statement by the chairman of the Association, Comrade Temitope Olatubosun and the Secretary, Comrade Cornelius Makanjuola.

Comrade Temitope Olatubosun and Comrade Cornelius Makanjuola appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the kind gesture which they said would go along way at cushioning the adverse effect of the current fuel subsidy removal.

They equally extended their appreciation to the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani who is the Chairman Steering Committee and the Organized Labor for the recommendations which was approved by the Governor.

The union leaders also acknowledged the support and trust of leaders and members of  the Community Health Practitioners, Ekiti State with a promise to continue to agitate for their welfare.

According to Comrade Temitope Olatubosun and Comrade Cornelius Makanjuola the payment of CONHESS and Hazard Allowance for their members has been an age long agitations saying the approval was just like a dream come through.

They affirmed that the gesture would boost the morale of the health officials towards giving their best for the service of the state.
