President of the Nigeria Association for physical,Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance, Professor Florence Bola Adeyanju on behalf the national executive members and members of the association worldwide lauded the appointment of the new Minister of Sports Senator John Enoh by the president of Nigeria,,Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released by the national public relations officer of the association, Kehinde Lamidi, Professor Adeyanju who expressed optimism that the 36th Minister of Sports in Nigeria will perform if given necessary supports by the government and other stakeholders and assured him of the maximum cooperation and support of members of the noble association( NAPHER-SD) who are experts and technocrats in the management and administration of sports.
“NAPHER-SD is the association that comprises members from notable Higher institutions in Nigeria and experts from various sporting establishments who are technocrats in the area of sports administration and Management who are always on hand to offer expertise advice to develop sports sector hence my advice to the new minister of sports to make use of them in his agenda in developing sports in Nigeria ” professor Adeyanju emphasises
The President of the Nigeria Association for physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance used the opportunity to suggest to the minister to expedite presidential accent of the bill on the return of the national sports commission.
In a related development, the President of the Nigeria Association for physical,Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance, Professor Florence Bola Adeyanju on behalf the national executive members and members of the association worldwide has also congratulated a member representing Chikun/Kajuru FederHal Constituency, Kaduna State in the 10th House of Representatives,Hon Ekene Abubakar Adams on his appointment as the Chairman House Committee on Sports.
In her congratulatory message, Professor Adeyanju who described Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams as a seasoned football administrator advised him to work together with the new Minister for Sports with a view to reviving and developing sports in Nigeria#
