…restates commitment to selfless service
The chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Prince Michael Ogungbemi has said that his dream is to make the LCDA a model in Africa.
Ogungbemi who spoke during a courtesy visit to the management of Radio Nigeria Progress FM in Ado Ekiti affirmed that his various achievements which had attracted commendations from all quarters were just tips of an iceberg compared to what he envisaged.
According to the chairman, more programmes would be carried out to impact on many citizens and provide a sustainable economic template that would serve as model for Councils globally.
He sought the support of Radio Nigeria towards achieving his dream.
Among the projects carried out by the chairman are School constructions, drilling of boreholes for portable water, Construction of health centers, empowerment of small and medium scale business owners, security, road maintenance, gradings to mention just a few.
Receiving the Chairman, the General Manager, Progress FM, Ado Ekiti, Dr. Adebola Agbaje promised to support the chairman towards projecting the council to the world.
