An unidentified motorcyclist has been critically injured as a result of an accident at Fajuyi Bridge in Ado-Ekiti.
According to an Officer of the Ekiti State Traffic Management Agency, who craved anonymity, the motorcyclist was coming from Bashiri axis before he unfortunately hit his head by the side of the bridge down to Ojumose after he lost control.
The officer stated that the accident left the motorcyclist in a critical condition, with blood gushing from different parts of his head and his thighs.
Eyewitness accounts has it that the passenger also got one of his legs broken before men of Western Security Network known as Amotekun came for a rescue party and took them to Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital for emergency treatment.
According to the Officer, “I can not really how it happened but, the Bike man is currently in a critical condition. His head is badly affected while his thighs is nothing to talk about because there is blood everywhere.
“Even the passenger got his leg broken, in fact condemned before Amotekun people came to pick them to Teaching Hospital for emergency treatment.
“If you look on the bridges, you can see a lot of blood but has been covered with sand by his colleagues.”
As no one can tell maybe it was as a result of over-speeding, there were speculations from other road users that he fell asleep or was receiving calls with his phone while riding.
