The Elesure of Esure-Ekiti, Oba Adebanji Ajibola has urged Nigerians to cultivate the act of praising God always.
The Traditional Ruler and Evangelist, who gave the charge while ministering at the annual thanksgiving programme of Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, maintained that every human being alive has sufficient reasons to appreciate God’s benevolence.
In his message titled” The significance of praising God”, Oba Ajibola highlighted; sustenance of good health, provision of food, protection from dangers, gift of salvation, gift of life and the fact that God created humans in His own image, as few of the many reasons human beings ought to praise their Maker.
Drawing inference from the Book of Psalm, chapter 92 verse 1, Elesure noted that God would always be moved to attend to whoever praises Him wholeheartedly.
He further charged Staff and Students to submit themselves to God, and allow Him to be their Sailor
Earlier, the Provost, Dr. (Mrs.) Olajumoke Adebayo attested to how God showered His mercy on the College in the outgone year 2024.
Dr. Adebayo hinted that, the developments recorded at the Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti since the current Management of the Institution mounted saddle could only be attributed to God’s favour.
She called for the support and cooperation of members of staff for the institution to record great achievements in 2025.
On her part, the College Registrar, Mrs. Caroline Ogunsakin urged Staff and Students not to renege in fellowshipping with other Brethren in the College community, especially whenever there is a call for corporate prayer.
The programme that was held inside the Honourable Wumi Ogunlola Hall in the College premises featured choir rendition, testimonies, praise sessions, prophetic impartation, corporate prayers as well as an anointing session.
