A transformer located beside BOVAS filling station, Adebayo Ado Ekiti alongside electric poles and cables have been damaged by a truck conveying cars.
According to witnesses, the driver of the truck was on top speed and in the process the cars on top of the truck hooked the electric cable across the road.
It was gathered that the force however dragged the pole in the other side, thereby damaging the pole and transformer but no life was lost.
In the process, many bottled soft drinks being sold beside the road and other goods were also broken into pieces.
However, the witnesses thanked God that the incident did not claim any life.
