A middle-aged man, whose identity has yet to be ascertained, is currently lying helplessly by the roadside in the Okesa area of Ado-Ekiti, with serious injuries and bleeding.
Sympathisers suspect that the man may have been knocked down by a hit-and-run vehicle, possibly during the night.
As of the time of filing this report, the injured man was reportedly left without adequate assistance by the roadside, while he continued to bleed.
According to reports, police officers managing traffic in the area were contacted and asked to assist the victim, but they allegedly declined to intervene.
Concerned residents and sympathisers are therefore appealing to the relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Environment and other emergency response agencies, to urgently come to the man’s aid and ensure that he receives medical attention.
They expressed concern that delaying assistance could further endanger his life.
