Report reaching Roundoffnews.com says a community leader in Otun Ekiti, Moba Local Government identified as High Chief Adeniran Rasak has been reported to have died shortly after killing a bird that strayed into his house.
The incident was said to have occured at Ajebandele area of Otun Ekiti.
According to a source who lived in the area, the community leader who had just retired from the service of the Ido Osi local Government slumped immediately after cutting the head of the bird and died.
It was gathered that at about five o’clock in the morning when the man was trying to say his morning prayer, the said bird strayed into his sitting room.
The man was said to have catched the bird, brought it outside the compound and cut off its head.
The reports says the man slumped immediately after and died a situation that has left the community with so much questions.
Roundoffnews can not confirm whether the death was connected to the killing of the bird as another version said the man may have died of anxiety and stress of chasing the bird around.
