LONG QUEUE RETURNS TO ATMs AS CASH CRUNCH PERSISTS IN EKITI

…customers want FG to sack CBN governor

Despite the ultimatum given to the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Government to address the issue of cash crunch, the situation persists  in Ekiti State.

Roundoffnews correspondent who went out to monitor the situation of things report that many Automated Teller Machines ATMs were not dispensing cash why the few ones dispensing were jam-packed by customers.

Some banks including Stanbic IBTC did not open for customers to enter on the excuse that they don’t have cash available.

In an interview, some customers who spoke with Roundoffnews express worry over the development and called for the sack of the CBN governor, Dr. Godwin Emefiele.

They noted that the CBN governor should be prosecuted for deliberately inflicting hardship on Nigerians.

The customers also appealed to NlC to go ahead with it’s planned strike.
