…Promises to Provide Education Loans, Give Universities Autonomy
The Nigeria newly elected President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appealed to other contestants to join him in building the nation.
Tinubu made the appeal while addressing the press after he has been declared winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu.
In his words, “I will be your servant and not be your leader. So, work with me and make Nigeria a great country. I take this opportunity to appeal to my fellow contestant, let us team up together, this is the only nation we have. It is mandatory that we must build together. Work together to put broken pieces together, we must work for unity, happiness and harmony.”
Also, Tinubu promises to be creative and pay attention to education saying that “education loan will be available, 4 years course will be 4 years course, no more strike, universities will have their Autonomy to be able to upgrade their syllables and be creative.”
